VeloArc OS · routing demo

Where should this human study run?

A routing decision based on expert analysis of risk, timeline and cost, for the United States, the United Kingdom, the main European Union countries, China and Australia.

How VeloArc answers. VeloArc combines current published rules and data with proprietary data that a public search cannot find: signed contracts, expert opinion and interviews with companies that have run these studies. That is what shows what a study really costs, how long it really takes and how each vendor really delivers. In this demonstration those numbers are marked Example. They are not real. They are illustrative only, for now, to show what the answer will look like once VeloArc holds the real data.
More locations coming. VeloArc OS can route a study anywhere in the world, including your home market. This demo covers the locations with the most verified detail behind them.

The programme

Decides where patients can be found
Planned subjects in the first human study
Turns the study finish date into cash used
Changes the overall ranking. Hard rules, such as the law in each country, apply first.
Asked because regulatory acceptance risk depends on it
Running the study where the company is based is always a real option

Toxicology status is set under Development stage. These ticks feed Your path to first dose, in the answer below: each step marked done or still to do, the months it takes, and the first dose date for each top location.

    After the answer

From the answer to a running study

Choosing the location is the first step. Bidding and oversight are optional, and the client decides at each step.

    1. Route. This answer, then a full report that the experts above check and sign.
    2. Bidding, optional. The local lead asks the shortlisted contract research organisations to quote for the same study on the same assumptions, so the quotes can be compared line by line. Any vendor can bid, including ones the client already knows. The local lead then negotiates the terms that decide the final bill: the price, the named team, how change orders are priced and what happens if dates slip. Because VeloArc brings studies from many clients, vendors compete harder for the work.
    3. Oversight, optional. Every month the vendor sends a progress report and an invoice. VeloArc's AI agents check both against the plan and the signed contract, and raise a flag when something slips. For example: one site has enrolled one patient of the four planned; an invoice includes a change nobody approved; the named study manager has changed. The expert reads the flags, decides what to do and joins the call with the vendor.
    4. Handover. The client keeps every contract, contact and record from the first day, and can take oversight in house at any point.

VeloArc works only for the client. It is paid by the client, never by the vendors, so its only interest is the best outcome for the client's study.

The rules on this page come from the regulators' own texts, including: the US Code of Federal Regulations on foreign clinical data (21 CFR 312.120 and 314.106); the European Union Clinical Trials Regulation (536/2014); Australia's Therapeutic Goods Act and Clinical Trial Notification guidance; China's National Medical Products Administration notice [2025] No. 86 and State Council Order 818; and the international guidelines ICH M3(R2) and ICH E5. The only published country cost comparison is Frost and Sullivan, 2016, used here for relative order only.

Where the example numbers will come from

The numbers marked Example are not real. They are illustrative only, for now. Real numbers like these are not publicly available, and VeloArc is collecting them.

Every answer is checked by an expert. In a client report, the recommendation, the numbers and the risks are reviewed and signed off by an expert who has run studies in that location, before the report reaches the client.

Two things produce that data, and only those two.

    1. The deals VeloArc runs for clients. Every routing engagement ends in executed contracts, invoices checked against the winning bid, and a study that either hit its dates or did not. That is the only place a real cost per evaluable subject, a real time to first dose and a real change order rate come from. The right to use it, with the client named nowhere, is written into the engagement letter from the first engagement.
    2. Structured interviews with people who have run these studies. People who have taken a drug into the clinic in a given market know what the regulator actually took, what the site actually charged and what went wrong. They will say so in a peer conversation.
